Thank you very much! I could finally have an idea about what he's singing there :-) My friend and I are very into this musical atm, but none of us really speak any german.
From the sound of it, Roseanne was his dead lover/wife? Perhaps died because of vampires which is(at least partially) his motivation of hunting vampires? If any of this was from the original book, I could remember very little of it. In any case Van Helsing does need to become a much fuller character.
Out of topic but do you trade musicals by any chance? :D
