Probably form this moment on (or, better to say, from this note) I will become a comparatively regular LJ user.
I have recently returned from a two-week holiday at the seashore (Crimea, a very nice place in the suburbs of Sevastopol). That was really very nice! ("The weather's cool, the folks are fine" - have been listening to Frank Sinatra and still am in this mood). My third visit to this charming peninsula.
But now I am so happy to be in dearest Kyiv! Home, sweet home... I missed my best friend greatly. Finally I can walk with her in the parks nearby. Discussion of our student ups and downs, of our favourite books, of the manga Hellsing (which we had begun to be fond of). Sharing crazy ideas of the books we are going to write to become famous... (for example, mine will be a cycle of short stories - or a novel consisting of separate tales about an organization of Kyiv vampire hunters; hers - something about Kyiv after some terrible disaster, and again about vampires and werewolves)...
(I see, too much of that stuff recently. I need badly to reread 'The Lord of the Rings'. Or, better, 'Count Monte-Cristo'.)
What else to say? Tomorrow my friend and I are going to pay a visit to the folk festival, 'Land of Dreams'. We have our embroidered Ukrainian shirts (vyshyvanka, that's how they are called properly) ready. I hope much to have nice time there...
