Ah, finally they managed to put that on their site!

Well... Unfortunately I caught a bad cold, so there's no way for my beloved CsárdásKirálynő tomorrow night. Well, I guess I'll have another occasion to see this operetta for the first time live... I'd love much to go and see "The Violet of Montmartre" this Saturday but I'm going to buy my tickets just before the performance. And, probably, "Die Fledermaus" on Tueasday, the 28th... I'm still unsure whether the production is all right (our operetta has great problems with decent singers), but I'm so curious to see it...

As a known good remedy, I tried Imre Kálmán. His 'Csardas Queen', 'Circus Princess' and 'Countess Mariza' are marvellous operettas which never fail to improve my spirits and - I hope so much - my health in general. This time (for I've listened to "Die Csardasfürstin" many times in many languages) my attention was drawn by Boni's nice song in the first act. I decided to compare the song of various performers - and here are the tracks for you to be able to do the same.

In German www.sendspace.com/file/avpqjf - by the way, this track is from a CD I bought in Székesfehérvár last summer. Because of this fact I can tell you the name of the performer, Herbert Prikopa - and the orchestra and choir - those of Vienna Volksoper)))

"Ganz ohne Weiber geht die Chose nicht"
German lyrics of the song )

And, finally - of my latest acquisitions - in Hungarian - www.sendspace.com/file/9zwsfs
Unfortunately I don't know the names of the performers, only the year of the production - 1968. Anyway, this song is great! My prize goes to Hungary (ha-ha, if anyone had any doubts about that before...)
In Hungarian the title is "Jaj, cica".
Hungarian lyrics - should anyone need them )
