Széchenyi Gyógyfürdő at break of dawn

This is our first glimpse of Budapest on arrival at nearly 6 AM and something - Széchenyi Medicinal Baths. Well... actually we noticed all that steam quite from afar;)

Passing the colonnade of the building

The foyer of the Baths

And the inner yard, where the outside pools are situated. The sky is much lighter - for it took us time to get used to the temperature in our bathing suits and to dare pull out the cameras and take pictures;)

Photos by Tanya and Eugenia - I can't remember who took which...

Actually I am looking for similar courses in Vienna - for I've heard some people hearing some people take them))) But Goethe, which I am so connected to, works only in Germany. However... there's time before summer, is it not?)

BTW, today happened a most unexpected thing: I thought of phoning Goethe in case "probably there will soon be another term... probably I will take another term..." - and they told me the course began today, there were still places. So I came there, and wrote a test, and a composition, and told two ladies about das Oesterreichische Kaiserreich and our beloved Kaiserin and Uwe - finally they DID know something about Uwe, if not about Pia and Maya... - Uwe as der Tod... So tomorrow at 4:30 PM my new course B 2.1 starts!

Operettszinház will be in Russia! I will perform some special ritual to send Szabó to you.
Ehrmm... how about learning the Hungarian lines for "Nein, ich moechte leben, ich bin so jung um auszugeben, etc." - or "Schwarzer Prinz, warum bleibst du nicht hier" and singing them loud? I mean you. For in Kata's case it brought Szabó around... maybe would be useful...

Just ask Era, she studied for a month in Vienna :)

Yay for course! It's cool but how are you with time when uni begin? B2 is cool, I hope I finish with A2 sooner or later...

O rly? I will remember it!

Girl, if I sing something loud - doesn't matter on which language - no one will never ever come to Russia! :)))

I think I'll try asking her:)

As for my uni - there will be two whole lessons before the end of the holidays, and the term lasts only to the end of March... I think I'll manage. For I miss the sound of German and some healthy German conversation soooo much...

Szilveszter is weird;) The weirder you make it, more probably he comes!

I want to change my Deutschkurs, I'm not satisfied with it, but I thing I'll wait till summer and then find smth more intensive like 5-days-a-week course. Maybe I'll have a possibility to end with B1 in summer and than start B2.

Hmm, oh well, you have a point. I hope you'll hear me when I come to Kyiv, to tell me if it's wierd enough? )))) Sometimes I sing very loud! Even on Hungarian, though...

[identity profile] christabel-daae.livejournal.com 2009-01-08 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Let us make smth really wierd!) Teljes a sotet, with you as Sarah and me - realizing one of my dreams - as von Krolock;) Now that you do study Hungarian...

[identity profile] chantfleuri.livejournal.com 2009-01-08 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, I do study, but we learn much simpler words then our favourite vampires do! Don't you know, such as 'This is a table, the table is in the room. It is brown. It is a flat. In this flat lives a teacher. The teacher is...'
And nothing about Totale Finsternis, not even a word!

Ah, that doesn't matter:) - I do not speak Hungarian at all, I only sing.
And if you learn Finsternis - you will start recognizing so many familiar words everywhere! For example, this Kétség és ábránd - and "hol a kétség elég" ;)

[identity profile] chantfleuri.livejournal.com 2009-01-08 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Where's this "hol a kétség elég" from? As I inderstand it can be translated as... ehm, 'where's enough doubt' or what? I understand these words but can't get a sense.

Now I begin to find familliar words (mostly simple) in R&J, it's cool!

[identity profile] christabel-daae.livejournal.com 2009-01-08 10:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Literally - my online translator says it means "where the doubt burns", that's the line which is analogous to "Zwischen Abgrund und Schein" (ah, again Abgrund...)

[identity profile] larisch.livejournal.com 2009-01-09 09:58 am (UTC)(link)
Btw, give me a link to this on-line translator :)

(ah, again Abgrund...)
Yes, but Schatten is still more popular!

Just pay attention from which language to which you're going to translate before clicking on the "fordit" button

Szilveszter is weird;) The weirder you make it, more probably he comes!

Now that is true, no doubt!

You girls gave me confidence :)
