HOwever, it is also possible that the girl simply had fallen ill... for anyway she had meant terribly much to our man, so her image still haunts him. BTW, have you seen the video? Uwe's singing the song while preparing a drug venous injection, and the lines "Oh, she stands there right now" come right after the injection (yeah, poor Van Helsing is an addict here). And, surely, nothing of this - neither a dead girlfriend, no matter how she died, nor drug addiction was in Stoker's novel. UNfortunately I don't trade musicals - only audios - but I am going to ask a couple friends who share with me the things I watch (this single video, for example)
